About Me

I'm a studio potter and instructor who began my ceramics journey in my 20s. Life’s demands such as raising children and a full-time teaching career took precedence, but I rekindled my passion for pottery a few years ago when my family moved to West Ottawa from Burlington. As an elementary educator, I bring my teaching expertise to my children and adult pottery classes. I aim to create an engaging and welcoming environment in my classes, and to encourage students to embrace the process and unleash their creativity.

I teach the following classes :

• Beginner Wheel 3 week

• Beginner Wheel 5 week

• Skills Training Sessions (you've taken a few classes and just want practice!)

• One Night Workshops to Give Pottery a Try!

• Children's Workshops (hand building techniques and painting)

• One Day Adult Hand Building Workshops (such as gingerbread houses!)
